This is a pretty cool little book with great paper stock and a very unique rubber band binding method. I guess it’s appropriate that it’s titled Unique. It is the Fall Winter 2010 lookbook for Topshop.

The Last Magazine is full of great photography and interesting articles/interviews and has some unique layouts to boot. I guess that’s what you get when a succesful Art Director from Baron & Baron and a creative from Visionaire and Box get together to start a magazine.

Heads gets it, and is usually not safe for work.

So Chris Heads loves life. I know this because I read what he says all the time, and it tends to be generally uplifting. Here is one of his stories from Mirage Magazine Issue 2, and I think he had a good time on that shoot. As he say’s, “we smoke, we drink, we take pictures… it’s not rocket science.”

Always been a fan of the macabre Edward Gorey. He has a demented sense of humor coupled with a comical drawing style that yields hilarious results. Who else can make a nursery rhyme book about murder that you can still read to your children? This book is titled Amphigorey Also, which google has scanned in entirety here. But don’t look at that, go buy it.

This is one spectacular book by the accomplished photographer Ellen Von Unwerth. 325 pages of great captures of couples. It was extremely hard to only put up 8 of the images from this lengthy book. Check out her work Revenge as well.

The current issue of Interview has a great article honoring Dennis Hopper’s contributions to film and photography. Some don’t know that he was quite the accomplished photographer. The portrait of him was shot by Terry, who currently has some great shots of Dennis up on his diary site.

Since I run a music site, I’m not able to really purchase a good deal of music, but when I come across a great LP, I grab it. This album, Big Echo by the Morning Benders, is pretty stellar. With all the crap album art these days, this one really stands out. A great watercolor landscape.
